Links of the Day for May 24th
These are the Links of the Day for May 24th
- Elgato releases EyeTV HD – If you want to take control of getting closed captioned TV content for your Mac, iPhone, Apple TV, iPad, etc. – EyeTV is something you need to check out. Yes, your EyeTV-recorded shows will have CC’s on your Mac, iPhone, iPodTouch, iPad, and AppleTV.
- ETVComskip and PyeTV are great add-ons for EyeTV – Speaking of EyeTV, ETVComskip is the ultimate add-on for it, letting you skip those pesky commercials.
- Apple’s Incredibly Efficient Growth – Amazing.
- Web Browsing Performance on Android 2.2 Hampered by Flash Compatibility – Jobs had a point after all, but everyone missed it. Even with the Google fanboys rubbing Android 2.2 (Froyo)’s Flash support in the Apple fanboys’ faces – they don’t realize they are just making Jobs’ point for him. Flash just isn't ready for mobile use. I really find it ironic that Google, an “open-source friendly” company has embraced one of the worst closed-source companies for their latest Android release, all in the name of choice.
- Spring Design Alex E-Book Reader – Why do those people even bother? You might as well roll down the window of your car and throw out money while you drive down the interstate. Please make something different enough so that you don’t get sued by Barnes & Noble, and overshadowed by the iPad.
- iPad + Velcro – What? No duct tape? Ha. Just kidding. But – think about this – imagine we had a VP (or an iPad with front facing cam heh) that was this flexible? Oh man!
- 30 Second iPad Stand – Stuck, and need an iPad stand NOW? I think the longest part would be trying to find the wire hanger, ha.

Check out the following link. It is an article that mentions videoconferencing on the new iPhone. There’s a poll that asks “how appealing a feature it really is for the next iPhone”. Glad to see that most think it is appealing, but I see that many do not think so. I’m also glad to know that the videoconferencing on the new iPhone is a done deal. :)
