Apple has announced a new FaceTime support line that can be called at 1-888-FACETIME. Unfortunately, this solution requires you to talk on the line to a hearing person, then they will do FaceTime with you, and of course they can’t be expected to sign back to you.
I was able to get in touch with an Apple rep via email and he called me via FaceTime, and we gestured and communicated via email. That was okay, but it could be much better, especially with Apple using sign language to bring home the big impact of FaceTime in Steve Jobs’ keynote. Apple expects sign language users to use FaceTime, so they should be prepared to support those users. :)
Does it vibrate when u get incoming FaceTime call???

So, does that mean there’ll be a Deaf MacGenius or two that will support Deaf Mac users via FaceTime or iChat in the future? Would be nice; I hear they pay very well.
Time to brush up on my Mac skills; my last encounter of the Apple kind was ML (65816) programming. (For those who don’t know what 65816 means, it’s the chipset in an Apple IIGS.
