@AIR, the colorized flash would require extensive programming to make it work and I’m hoping Apple can do it.

It works on my G5 Leopard tower just fine and flashed once per message when opening Mail app. Color flashes are a must for us deaf Mac users! And a designated number of flashes per occurrence is desirable as well!
