As you can see from my recent posts, I do have an recent applications stack in my dock, sometimes I need to open 2 or 3 of them at once, but its a bore to click one application, the stack goes away, click again to open stack again to load a different program.

this applies to text files, or photos, etc in other stacks.

next time, just hold down the option key, and click on the item you wish to be open, that will open but the stack will stay open, go ahead and click all the other things you need opened. (hold option key until you’re done)
