An Online Gift for You: Mac Secrets Exposed

Knowing how fast the Apple market share is growing in the Deaf community, I took the liberty of writing an online booklet for you to help two types of people:

1) Switchers (PC to Mac)
2) Mac Users

Many thanks goes out to Hands On VRS for making this booklet possible.

DISCLAIMER: This book was written for Mac OS X up to Tiger and does not include the latest Leopard system; however, there are some information in the booklet that will also apply in Leopard.

Enjoy reading the Mac Secrets Exposed book!

I forgot to post the URL to the online booklet in my original post, my bad! I’ve modified the post and included the link to the booklet. Without further ado, here’s the book!

Taylor, I have perused this booklet and it looks fabulous! I kinda wish but I know I am hoping hope against hope that you would have this booklet printed for sale because I think it would look more professional than what my printer can produce. Ya think?

There are no plans to publish this book materialistically. It’s only available online and you’re more than welcome to save or print it. If you want professional quality, I recommend you to save it and bring it to Kinko’s and see what they can do with it?

Is the book available as a PDF or RTFD or in some other accessible form? All I can get it to show me is some type of flash application that I can’t access.

If there’s no accessible version, could you give a bit more detail about what’s in it so I can stick a link on http://atmat.org/ please? Is it stuff that’s specific to Deaf Mac users or more general? Is it about hoVRS specifically or other services too? If you’d like to write a summary of what it’s about that would be helpful. Thanks.

Very nice.

Wasn’t HOVRS supposed to send a copy of this booklet (and Vital Signs) to all people who attended the HOVRS Mac Tour last summer? I haven’t gotten either, despite several requests and reassurances that it’d be mailed to us?

Either way, this is very cool. :)

@Trudy: HOVRS mailed out the “A Permanent Grave” DVDs. As for the booklet, they decided to distribute the booklet online instead.
