Just got a new iPhone. Haven’t register through iTunes yet as I read several websites that it takes longer due to numerous of people sign up and AT&T is barely handling this. Will wait until morning to register. I am anxious to see how well vibration work with “push” email messages. This would be a primary function for me. Will keep you all posted of how it goes.

Just watched Jay Leno’s Tonight Show. Jay mentioned about iPhone’s million functions. If it is in car, it is called iCrashed!

Thanks for the video. With all the high-fiving and clapping going on, it looked like a ‘religious revival’. :) Hopefully the iPhone will work out for you and that the TAP plan will be made available to those who need it.

I agree w/ Taylor, Roger’s excellent “newscaster” on this exciting event! Captured the moment when the store re-opened is amazing. Thanks for the videos you’ve shared with us all, Roger.

Oh geez, some people were in long lines just to buy two iphones for $1,000 (or, 1,200) and put on ebay last night. As high as 3,500 for ONE iphone! What an investment for the seller!

Thank you for the video and brief review of IPhone. I went to Apple Store in Boston around 8pm, the store was still crowded! I did take a glimpse of IPhone and its features were amazing. Like Vass said, the keyboard was interesting but I think we could get used to it instantly. I love how I could use the touch screen to browse and it was convenient!

Deaf friendly? Whenever I get email on iPhone, it would one time vibrate very brief. If several of you sent emails between fifteen minutes, I would not know about this until iPhone check in every 15 minutes. You would have to check your iPhone in every minute, that is not efficiency. One solution would be for someone to write widget to make iPhone more Deaf-friendly. Immediate solution is to use SMS. Not many of us are crazy about using SMS. iPhone plan only allow up to 200 SMS per month, unless you are willing to apart another $20 per month for unlimited.
I am at a point where I am not sure whether to keep this phone. I have signed up for iPhone class. Maybe they will show other solution that address my needs of immediate communciation using email accoutn. But, I doubt so.

Surpirsed, Finally I try out iPhone at my nearly ATT store (they already sold out) but they have two demos. I type it on screen which is so easy and have no problem with this keyboard. But SMS plan is so bad… not know when ATT will offer Data only plan.

as i was told, at&t mobility is working on that iPhone’s issue for TAP(text accessibility plan) and i don’t know when it will offer that plan for deaf iPhone subscribers. i hope it will come out very soon ! yet i am excited about that, but i doubt i will get iPhone myself because there are not enough third party applications like Instant Messenger software such as Mundu IM. i might get next 2nd or 3rd generation of iPhone. who knows.
