Is there anybody that joined the iPhone bandwagon and bought their own? I know quite a few that are buying sometimes soon. I know one that is buying today and one sometimes this week.
Are you next?
i is have the iPhone!
Too purchased an iPhone to replace my Verizon cellphone, but I am still keeping my SkyTel 2-way pager (for operator to text calls to me). I agree with the comments about the lack of strong and multiple vibrations. I do like the fact that when you SMS, your screen lights up, so that has alerted me, but only when I am having an SMS “conversation”. I use the Bluetooth to couple with my hearing aid. I can only have a conversation with those that I know, and very brief and factual, as it is extremely difficult to follow conversation. I do like the web browse and e-mail features.
Yes, Apple has a lot to learn about making the phone more deaf and profoundly hard of hearing friendly.
Just purchased iPhone today (Aug 15th). Can’t wait any longer and know Apple will improve and make it deaf-friendly sooner. Can always sell it when better one come up. Smile.
Received my first iPhone Dec. 4th, 2007. LOVE it! wear CIC’s in both ears. Don’t have Tcoil. Have to place phone just right to prevent feedback.
Still wishing for a really great bluetooth headset that’s compatible and handsfree/wire free.
TIP: My 8gb has QWERTY touch screen and if you want the letters to be bigger, you just put thumb and pointer finger down on screen (at same time) and then with the action of spreading those two fingers apart, the screen will enlarge, thus the typing screen will enlarge.
I use SMS to text message – all the time! Husband travels outside the country and I text him questions throughout the day…no need to worry about speaking the language or time zone differences…it’s a life saver!
can’t say enough about iCalendar or being able to add my own touch buttons right onto the main screen with all of the Apple touch buttons! Camera could use some tweeking, but love my iPhotos and best of all, phone AND all my iTunes!
It’s nice when you’re in some waiting room, or sitting in airport, to be able to be productive and check e-mails, send e-mails and surf the web.
This device eliminated my iPod shuffle, cell phone and Palm pilot!

How about if you put “iPhone user” on the top menu bar right next to “Switched” ?
