iPhone to support TTY devices

TTY Adapter

Although TTYs are obsolete to me, it is interesting enough to point out that the iPhone is providing a TTY Adapter allowing you to hook up your iPhone to a TTY device.

The last time I actually used a TTY was probably 6 years ago when I had to order Papa John’s pizza.

As a very frequent TTY user, I believe that the TTY adapter would not help iPhone users because the TTYs are going to dissolve. What company has developed the adapter? Apple Inc??

Roger Vass, yes some cellphones work with TTY. Some of customers still asked for TTY Support. it would be good news for them, not for me. We do not have any TTY display at our store. maybe we sold one TTY in three months. These models such Compact/C TTY, we would not sell that part (adapter).
